During this time Celebrants would light bonfires as a sign of “relighting the Hearth” and wear costumes to scare off any Ghouls that might be near.

If you prefer the hands-on approach of gathering materials in person, crafting supplies at stores like Hobby Lobby, Michaels, dedicated crafting stores, and even Walmart.

Lets Crawl Into It!



Skeleton Pumpkins

These bone-chilling creations are a frightful way to bring a bit of spook to your front porch.


Materials You'll Need:


  • 2 Pumpkins

  • Matte White Spray Paint

  • Black Paint or Sharpie

  • Or Black Spray Paint and a Stencil


Instructions:

Start by removing the stem from one of the pumpkins.

Next, spray paint both pumpkins with matte white spray paint. Allow them to dry completely before stacking them to prevent any smudging or smearing.


Now, you have two options to create the skeleton design

  1. You can use black paint or a Sharpie to draw circles and ovals, forming the bones of your Skeleton.

  2. If you prefer a stencil, you can use black spray paint with the stencil for an intricate bone design.
